Photographs and Storiesof the Timucuan Parks

Enjoy stunning images captured by local photographer Will Dickey and stories from the Timucuan Parks in this hardcover coffee table book. A portion of the proceeds from each purchase will go directly towards supporting the Timucuan Parks system.

Ecology, History and Culture

Timucuan Parks Foundation collaborated with photographer Will Dickey and authors Simon Barker-Benfield and Steve Patterson to transmit the beauty of 23 local parks to a 106-page experience. Beginning with images from the River Trail parks along the St. Johns River, the book moves through scenes from the Forest and Coast Trail parks. Dickey presents both untouched landscapes and the daily activity of wildlife—nesting royal terns, flying ospreys, and spinning banana spiders. The book closes with familiar sights from Fort Caroline and Kingsley Plantation.

Barker-Benfield and Patterson accompany the images with unique details about the ecology, history and culture of the Timucuan Parks from 4000 BC to present day.
