Hallie grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts with a degree in Economics and earned her MBA from Fairfield University. She moved to Florida in 1992 to work as the director of finance for The Nature Conservancy. In 1999, she moved to Jacksonville where she joined the team that worked on Mayor John Delaney’s Preservation Project Jacksonville to help protect public lands and manage land acquisition. When the project ended, she worked on oyster restoration, invasive species removal, and fire and land management.

Hallie served as treasurer for Beaches Watch, as board member for Friends of Talbot Islands and as board member for TPF for two years. In her spare time, Hallie likes hiking the trails of the Timucuan Parks. She loves Florida and misses Connecticut.
