Located on historic Fort George Island within the Timucuan Preserve, this site protects the oldest standing plantation house in Florida, the remains of original tabby slave cabins, the original barn and kitchen house. A garden is planted with sample crops that would have been grown during the plantation era such as sea island cotton and indigo.

The plantation is located along the beautiful Fort George River where many Florida water birds can be observed. A dock offers access from the water.
